1)  Where can I buy a FEED bag?

Our FEED fans can buy bags right here from our website, and in select retail stores across the world!

2) Where is my money and donation going?

Every FEED product has a specific and individual donation attached to the sale of the item.  Rather than donating a "percentage of the profits or proceeds" like some other organizations, we donate an actual amount of money from each product sold. The donation is built into the cost of the product - so it is an exact and tangible amount of money for each product.  For example, for every purchase of the FEED 1 bag, 1 child is fed in school for 1 year.  The UN World Food Program (WFP) estimates that in many countries, it costs $20 to feed one child in school for one school year. So the FEED 1 bag has a donation of $20 (1/3 of the retail cost) included in every bag purchase, which FEED donates to WFP.

The rest of the cost of our products goes to making the actual bag - including design, production, shipping, our 100% post-consumer recycled hang tags, and toward the cost of running our small business. It is important to note that we make our products out of eco-friendly fabric (including organic cotton, natural burlap, recycled plastic-based nylon) and in fair labor factories that are audited by partner organizations like Verite.org. The products all have different donations, and the measurable donations for each product can be found on the individual FEED product pages within our online store.

The donations are then made by FEED at least twice a year to the UN World Food Programme (or our other partner organizations like Room-to-Read, Millennium Villages, and Industrial Revelation), based on the number of bag sales that we have to-date at that time.

FEED is incredibly proud of the large donations that are associated with each bag.  With a small team, a low overhead and thanks to our great FEED fans and customers, we are still able to grow and continue to provide good products that help FEED the world.

3) Is my FEED bag eco-friendly?

Yes!  The original FEED 1 bag was designed by Lauren (Bush) to be a reusable bag - perfect for groceries, carrying shopping purchases, traveling, etc. to help cut down on the use of plastic bags.

All of our bags are made from 100% organic cotton, natural burlap, or recycled plastic-based nylon, all sustainable and eco-friendly materials, and our hang tags are made from post-consumer recycled paper.

4) How many bags have you sold and how many meals have you donated?

To date, we have sold over 550,000 bags and have provided over 55 million meals - and the number continues to grow each day!

5)  I ordered a product that is on back order.  When can I expect to receive it?

We were so excited about the amazing response we got from customers over the holiday season this year!  As a result, we are back ordered on a few items.  Below is the schedule for the shipping dates for these items, with the arrival of the items to our customers 1-2 weeks after the ship date indicated.

FEED 3 and FEED 5 Bears: Late March arrival to our warehouse and Early April arrival to our customers
FEED 5 Bracelets: Late March arrival to our warehouse and Early April arrival to our customers

9) How can I make an additional donation to FEED?

To make an additional monetary donation, please visit our 501c3 non-profit organization, the FEED Foundation, to donate directly via our website.

10)  How can I help support FEED?

11)  When will I receive the FEED products that I ordered online?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tracking information at this time. We are moving towards an integration system between our website and UPS, and we plan to be able to offer tracking information within the next month so that our wonderful customers are able to see exactly when their FEED bags and accessories will arrive!
