Thank you for accessing the website (the "Site") which is owned and operated by FEED Projects LLC ("FEED", "we", “our” or "us"). We respect your right to privacy. To learn more about the ways in which we gather, use and disclose information about you, please read the privacy policy that follows (the "Privacy Policy"), which applies to the Site, as well as to FEED’s other services and products which link to this Privacy Policy, and when you otherwise communicate with us.
FEED Projects LLC is a controller under applicable data protection laws and is therefore responsible for the personal information we process about you. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, including any requests to exercise your legal rights in respect of your personal information, please contact us using the details set out below (see “Contact Us”).
What Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you use the Site, we collect certain types of information from and about you. Some of this information may be considered “personal information,” meaning it reasonably identifies you or your device, or it is reasonably associated with you. Examples of ways in which we may collect personal information from you include the following:
"Third Party Pixels and Cookies. When you visit our website, log in, register or open an email, cookies, ad beacons, and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with information they or others have about you, including your email address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses.
We may also de-identify and aggregate your information. Once de-identified and aggregated, it is no longer personal information. Such de-identified and/or aggregated information which does not identify individuals is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
We may use your information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (i) to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you; (ii) where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests; (iii) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (iv) to comply with legal process; (v) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (vi) to enforce our terms and conditions; (vii) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (viii) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and (ix) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
Generally, we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal information, although where required by law, we will seek your consent before sending direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. In such circumstances, you have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us (see “Contact Us” below).
In addition to the information collected, we will also collect your mobile phone number, so long as you have consented to receipt of marketing materials via SMS text message by signing up on our website or providing a designated keyword via text message to a pre-designated number. This sign-up would indicate that you agree to receive marketing and product information via text message. If you wish to change this setting, please contact us at support@feedprojects.com.
Sharing Your Information
We may share personal information with third parties who we engage to perform services in connection with the operation of our business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customization, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, Site evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing.
Where you have provided your express opt-in consent to marketing, we will also share information with our business partners. For example, we will share information with business partners who assist us with direct mail marketing. These business partners may share your information with subcontractors and may use the information provided for their own marketing purposes where you have agreed to them doing so.
We may also share this information with third party marketing partners that: (i) provide products or services to us; (ii) that help us market to you (iii) assist us with internal market research; and (iv) perform any of the other activities allowed under this Privacy Policy.
You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at support@feedprojects.com at any time. Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal information provided to us as a result of a product purchase, product experience or other transactions.
From time to time, we may be required to provide your personal information to comply with the law, such as in response to court order, subpoena, or government investigation. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. We may release personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.
We may also share personal information with (i) subsidiaries or affiliated entities that we control, that control us, or that are under common control with us, and (ii) third parties in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the web and on the Site. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by FEED and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Site and other websites, and better understand your online activity. For more information about interest-based ads, or to opt out of having your web browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes, please visit www.aboutads.info/choices.

Security
We seek to use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please immediately notify us in accordance with the "Contact Us" section below.
Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries
FEED is based in the United States and we process and store information in the U.S. and other countries. Therefore, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. If such transfers take place, they will be in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For example, if you are located in the UK or EU, if such transfers take place, we will use measures such as standard contractual clauses that have been approved by the UK Government, European Commission or other relevant authorities, or rely on one of the other safeguards permitted by applicable law (such as obtaining your consent to transfer personal information, where the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between us or where a contract was entered into on your behalf, or where the transfer is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims).
If you are a resident of Canada and you use the Site, your personal information may be stored or accessed outside of Canada, including by our affiliated companies or by third party service providers. This means that your personal information will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is stored or accessed including the access rights of the government of that jurisdiction. If you do not wish for your personal information to be stored or accessed outside of Canada you have the option of not using the Site. If you have questions about the storage of your personal information outside of Canada please contact us as set forth above in the “Contact Us” section.
Retaining Personal Information
We will only retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal information for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.
In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data: see “Your Legal Rights” below for further information.
In some circumstances where we anonymize your personal information (so that it can no longer be associated with you), we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
Your Legal Rights
Depending on where you are located and the data protection laws that apply to our processing of your personal information, there are certain rights that may apply in respect of the personal information that we hold about you. Details of these rights are set out below:
If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact us using the details set out in the “Contact Us” section below. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
In addition to the rights set out above, if you are based in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to deal with your concerns before you approach a supervisory authority, and so ask you to please contact us in the first instance (see “Contact Us” below). If we are unable to resolve your complaint or you still wish to make a complaint to a supervisory authority, you can contact the data protection supervisory authority in your country, where you live or work, or the location where the data protection issue arose. In particular:
Time Limits
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site is intended for general audiences and are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from our Site from users in this age group.
Links to Other Web Sites
Links to third-party Web sites may be provided solely for your information and convenience, or to provide additional information for various other goods and services. If you use these links, you will leave our Site. This Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of those Web sites linked to our Site, nor do we control their content or privacy policies. We suggest that you carefully review the privacy policies of each site you visit.
Do Not Track Signals
FEED does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals to the extent received from a web browser. Because there currently is not a universally accepted technological or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals as reflections of user choice, we do not respond to them at this time. Once such technology is created and has received applicable regulatory approval, we will consider (a) whether it is possible; and (b) if so how it can be incorporated within FEED’s environment in the future.
Shine the Light
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident, you may request this information once per calendar year by contacting us at support@feedprojects.com.
